Jun 16, 2020 An Update from Management

Steve Nash Fitness World, Crunch Fitness, and UFC GYM locations in British Columbia have been acquired by a new group of investors. Chris Smith will remain as CEO to navigate the return of the fitness centers for members, employees, and partners.

“I am excited to be chosen by the new ownership team to carry on the fitness legacy of these clubs.”
– Chris Smith

We look forward to welcoming our members back with a great experience, re-engaging our team members and building a comfortable and safe space for our fitness communities. We have plans to rebrand the clubs and create incredible value for every community that we serve.

“The new ownership team understands there are many questions that remain unanswered and we look forward to welcoming people back into the clubs as quickly and safely as possible as we work through Covid-19 reopening protocols. There will be health and safety procedures in place when we reopen that are all in line with BC safety standards, as keeping everyone safe and healthy will be a foremost priority”
– Chris Smith

We look forward to communicating the reopening strategy on each location in the coming weeks and having members return to the clubs and continue on their fitness journey. We will release information on specific location openings soon. We have already made a commitment to honor all service agreements, whether they were pre-paid memberships or personal training services, as we know that was a big question for many. Monthly dues will also be honored and remain the same as we reopen the clubs for workouts. All parties are moving as quickly as possible to get these clubs operating for everyone to enjoy, get fit, stay healthy, and meet your goals, whatever they might be.

At any time, members are encouraged to send questions to and will receive an answer as quickly as possible.
